Our Story

How it all started...

Bridge of Hope (BOH) was birthed on Sunday, September 8, 1996 under the leadership of Pastor David and Grace Asante. The first service was held at Highland Heights Middle School auditorium in East Nashville. 89 people attended: half of them were invited guests and the rest were people who had come to know the Lord through our tent crusade on Dickerson Road in East Nashville the previous month. The majority of them were drug addicts, prostitutes, and the homeless. Since then, God has used the ministry of BOH to touch the lives of countless people.

Expanding the vision...

In November 2022, Bridge of Hope relocated from 525 E Trinity Ln, Nashville to 4319 Saundersville Rd. Old Hickory, TN 37138. The new address 4319 signifies God's promise to His church in Isaiah 43:19: "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." God is doing a new thing!
